Sometimes the traditional path through home design isn’t quite right for clients. Maybe you aren’t quite ready to commit to an entire design project or possibly you are already a ways down the path planning your project but you would like another set of eyes on your plan before you go for it.

Drive Thru Design Service may be a good fit.

​This service was created to allow for an easy entry into design with pretty low stakes. It is kept pretty simple and I wouldn’t call it a complete design service – that would entail significantly more study and detail. What this service does do well is getting each phase right, so that the next phase is set up for success.

Drive Thru Design Service is broken into three parts. They must be completed in order but you can chose to continue or not after each phase.

At the end of each phase you should have a useful document or set of documents to use in your design project.

Phase 01: Plan Optimization

What I need from you

  • Completed questionnaire.
  • Your Floor Plan.
  • Photos showing space and surrounding rooms and yard.
  • If you have them in mind already, a list of any fixtures, appliances, etc.

What to expect 

  • A few emails and phone calls where we will be talking about your project.
  • Access to a client portal to monitor progress.
  • A presentation of a Draft Plan, with opportunities for feedback.
  • A presentation of your Final Plan.

Timeline

  • 2 weeks or less – you receive the first draft of the plan.
  • Within 1 week of receiving feedback from you, you receive a Revised Floor Plan.

What I give you

  • An Annotated Floor Plan explaining design choices.
  • Additional notes from me explaining design choices.

Pricing

  • Under 1000 square foot area = $640
  • Between 1000- 2000 square foot area = $1,280
  • Over 3000 square feet = $1,900

Phase 02: Elevations, Schedules and a Moodboard

What I need from you

  • That you have completed Phase 01.
  • Completed questionnaire.
  • Inspiration images.
  • If you have them in mind already, a list of any fixtures, appliances, etc.

What to expect 

  • A few emails and phone calls where we can talk about your project.
  • Access to a client portal to monitor progress.
  • A presentation of Draft Elevations, with opportunities for feedback.
  • A presentation of your Final Elevations, Schedules and Moodboard.

Timeline

  • 2 weeks or less – you receive the First Draft of the elevations.
  • Within 1 week of receiving feedback from you, you receive a Revised Elevations and Schedules and a Moodboard.

What I give you

  • A Floor Plan
  • Interior Elevations
  • Fixture Schedule
  • Finish/Material Schedule
  • Moodboard

Pricing

  • Each room = $1,280

Step 3: Build Ready Detail

What I need from you

  • That you have completed Phase 01 + Phase 02.
  • Confirmation of dimensions.

What to expect 

  • I further develop your Drawings and Schedules.
  • I further detail and dimension your Plans.
  • I develop Details appropriate for your project.

Timeline

  • You provide me with confirmation of dimensions.
  • 2 weeks or less – you receive build ready documents.

What I give you

  • Detailed Floor Plan and Elevations.
  • Interior Elevations.
  • Refined Fixture Schedule.
  • Refined Finish/Material Schedule.
  • Selected Details.

Pricing

  • Each room = $1,600
