Tyler Runner
Tyler Runner received his undergraduate architecture degree from Lehigh University in 1998. He studied architecture further at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), receiving his Masters in Architecture in 2003.
Tyler began his architecture career working for Schaefer Johnson Cox Frey Architecture in Wichita, Kansas from 1995-1996. After his undergraduate education he worked at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott in Boston, Massachusetts from 1999-2000. While there he worked on a variety of projects but was focused on his work as part of the design development and construction drawing production team for the Eugene Public Library. While at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott, Tyler met architects involved with SCI-Arc, which led him to the architecture school located in Los Angeles, CA.
Following SCI-Arc, Tyler began working at WBGS Architecture and Planning (now Pivot Architecture) in Eugene, Oregon. He worked on the design and construction management of Jordan Plaza Medical Office Building and the Newport Expo Center.
In 2005, Tyler started Runner Design Studio, a design/build office with an emphasis on design, specializing in custom single family homes.
